Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Licensed Vocational Nurse to work in a supported living center located in Corpus Christi, TX. The LVN performs complex vocational nursing for various patient care duties, under the supervision of the Unit RN and Unit Nurse Manager.

Schedule

• Shifts: 6:00am to 2:30pm and 2:00pm to 10:30pm
• Every 3rd weekend off (rotational pattern)

Job Duties

• Provide care for patients – manage medication administration and treatments
• Provide medication education and complete documentation
• Perform computer data entry – receive full training

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice Nursing in Texas (LVN)
• 1 year, but preferably 2+ years as a direct care nurse
• Competent in advanced skills such as gastrostomy tubes/enteral feedings, Foley catheters, tracheostomies, etc.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice as a licensed vocational nurse in the state of Texas
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing
• Demonstrated computer & electronic health record skills preferred
• Must have valid photo ID and current American Heart Association CPR certification
• Must provide TB documentation
