About the role
DaVita is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to join an outpatient dialysis center. The role involves providing care to patients dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease.
Responsibilities
- Deliver care in an empathetic, compassionate way
- Build meaningful and long-term relationships with patients and their families
- Work in a fast-paced environment supporting patients with multiple co-morbidities
- Operate the water treatment system as required by state regulations
Requirements
- Current LPN-LVN license in the state of practice
- CPR certification
- IV certification if required by state regulations
- Completed training program approved by the medical director and the governing body as required by CMS guidelines
- One year's experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BONENT or CHT certification preferred or as required by state regulation
- Functional proficiency in computer systems of DaVita within 90 days of hire
Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of patient care protocols and treatments

Pay
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. DaVita offers a competitive total rewards package, which includes a 401k match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits.
Schedule
Flexibility to float to various clinics during and after training, with potential to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
