All West Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team and support both outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry. We are seeking a versatile, client-focused technician who is passionate about surgery and enjoys being actively involved in both surgical and general practice care. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, balancing hands-on surgical support, exam room responsibilities, patient care, and meaningful client communication. You’ll have the opportunity to work hands-on with a diverse range of patients, including dogs, cats, pocket pets, birds, reptiles, and other exotic species, while helping educate and guide clients throughout their pet’s care. Your expertise will help elevate the quality of medicine, enhance the client experience, and provide exceptional patient care across a wide variety of species. Responsibilities Include Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflowsPerforming anesthesia induction, monitoring, assisting, and recoveryPerforming dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiographyMaintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentationReviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionatelyIdentifying patient concerns and supporting efficient case management across the hospitalBuilding strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service This role is ideal for technicians who enjoy variety in their day, are confident moving between exam room and procedure support, and want to fully utilize their clinical knowledge, technical skillset, and client communication abilities in a collaborative general practice environment. Schedule And Compensation Compensation: $23 - $26 per hour, for each hour workedThis is a full-time or part-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday. No weekends, nights, or holidays!
