Liberty Pet Hospital is a full-service veterinary clinic proudly serving Powell, OH and the surrounding communities of Columbus, Dublin, and Delaware. Responsibilities

  • Dental procedures including scaling, polishing, charting, and radiographs
  • Phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, applying casts, bandages, and splints
  • Anesthesia monitoring and surgical experience including intubation, monitoring, pre-operative and post-operative care
  • Medical math and drug calculations
  • Laboratory skills including cytology set-up and interpretation
  • Diagnostic experience including digital radiology, dental radiology, and ultrasound-guided cystocentesis
  • Proper animal handling and restraint
  • All other duties of a Registered Veterinary Technician as allowable by law

Requirements

  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in Ohio, or eligible to transfer/acquire state license within 3 months of hire
  • 2+ years of veterinary clinical experience as a veterinary technician or assistant
  • Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
  • Passion for working with animals and their owners
  • Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
