Licensed Therapist (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC)
About The Role
The Licensed Therapist provides high-quality mental health services to individuals and families through assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions. This role supports clients in improving overall functioning, achieving personal goals, and navigating life challenges through evidence-based practices. The position works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and positive clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy services
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support coordinated care
- Participate in case reviews, treatment planning, and staff meetings
- Facilitate psychoeducational groups and skill-building sessions
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, ethical standards, and professional boundaries
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must have an active California License and in good standing with the CA BBS as a LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC.
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated experience providing individual, group, and/or family therapy.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning skills.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in outpatient, community-based, or behavioral health settings.
- Experience working with diverse populations across the lifespan.
- Bilingual skills (Spanish or other languages) preferred.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Work Location
San Diego, CA – On-site, hybrid, or program-based depending on role. Travel may be required up to approximately 20%.
