About the role
Roots Behavioral Health (A Hightop Health Clinic) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Therapist to join our integrative and collaborative outpatient psychiatry practice in Austin, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Conduct weekly individual psychotherapy sessions with patients on caseload, appropriately and timely documenting the sessions.
- Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans. Regularly assess and document patient progress toward their goals, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes and enhanced overall well-being.
- Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to individuals, incorporating various directive modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and other eclectic therapeutic approaches.
- Experience with or willingness to learn Ketamine assisted psychotherapy.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals - including psychiatrists, nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimize treatment effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical services in the electronic health record in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Operate within the core values of respect and care for others.
Requirements
- Masters or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
- Current and full licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
- Bi-lingual preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, emphasizing program specific assessment, risk assessment, and outcome measures.
- Expert clinical engagement skills with patients and supports.
- Commitment to maintain ethical standards and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in delivering evidence-based therapy modalities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
