Licensed Telehealth Therapist / Mental Health Counselor (California)

About the role

We are seeking Licensed Mental Health Therapists (LCSW, LPC, LMHC, LMFT) to provide therapy for autistic and neurodivergent adults via telehealth. You will join a team dedicated to creating affirming, accessible mental health services for the neurodivergent community.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional client care while we manage administrative tasks, insurance billing, and client acquisition.
• Enjoy scheduling flexibility: Design your work schedule to accommodate personal needs and maintain optimal work-life balance.
• Scale your practice quickly: Build your caseload with steady client referrals during your first few weeks, with most clinicians reaching their ideal caseload within 4-6 weeks.
• No-show and late cancellation reimbursement: Receive 50% reimbursement for late cancellations and no-shows.
• Grow professionally: Access regular peer consultation, specialized training, and monthly case conferences.
• Work alongside clinicians who share your commitment to neurodiversity-affirming approaches.
• Join a supportive clinical community: Engage in weekly drop-ins and a tight-knit community that prevents isolation.

Qualifications

• Licensed independent mental health professional (LCSW, LPC, LMHC)
• Strong clinical skills in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT or ACT
• Comfort with technology and virtual care platforms (Zoom, EHR, Slack)
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to client-centered care
• Telehealth experience preferred but not required

Pay

Competitive W2 rate paid per session. 50% reimbursement for late cancellations/no shows. Paid every 2 weeks for the sessions you provide, no waiting for payment or reimbursement.

Schedule

Full Time (Benefits-Eligible) Hours: Provide 25+ hours of weekly availability to build a caseload of 25+ clients
Ideal for: Those who seek steady, predictable income that grows with their client base
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate paid per session

Part-Time Position Hours: Provide 15+ hours of weekly availability to build a caseload of 15+ clients
