Licensed Team Lead

The Licensed Team Lead at LensCrafters is responsible for creating exceptional value in the lives of customers and patients through outstanding customer service. Key responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring customers and patients are always delighted.
2. Managing key optical and lab processes to exceptional results.
3. Assisting customers with selections, providing recommendations, and assisting sales associates.
4. Serving as an alternate store key holder under current and valid state Opticianry license.
5. Performing expertise and product knowledge on lens choices based on vision needs and OD prescriptions.
6. Adjusting and repairing eyewear as needed, presenting and dispensing eyewear, and performing accurate digital measurements.
7. Working with associates to strengthen their knowledge, skills, and certification for foundational product and store processes related to lenses and lab technology.
8. Ensuring finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
9. Creating a safe working environment for all, demonstrating safe work practices.

Qualifications include:

• An HS diploma/GED.
• A current and valid state Opticianry license.
• Strong optical and retail experience.
• Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Sales skills.
• Problem-solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators.
• Leadership and training experience.
• Edging and mounting experience.
• Basic optics knowledge and optical measurement experience.

Preferred qualifications include:

• State licensure (if applicable) and/or ABO Certification in non-licensed states.
• LensCrafters Final Eyewear Inspector Certification.
• LensCrafters Quality, Fitting & Adjusting Program.
• Optical machinery/instruments experience.
• AccuFit Digital Measurement System certification.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise and lens options.
