Licensed Psychotherapist – LPC or LCSW

About the role

The Thompson Center for Autism & Neurodevelopmental Disorders is excited to announce an opening for a Clinical Psychotherapist. This full-time position offers flexibility in work hours and plays a vital role in providing comprehensive care to patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group psychotherapeutic services for children and families.
• Congduct client assessments and evaluate ongoing therapeutic needs.
• Recommend and help implement programming enhancements to leadership.
• Pilot and support clinical workflow initiatives.
• Assist in training clinical students as needed.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary clinical teams and support staff.
• Document patient care accurately and in compliance with department and hospital policies.

Requirements

• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Shift: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in social work, mental health nursing, counseling education, psychology, or related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities can be acquired.
  • Missouri licensure as a Clinical Social Worker, Psychologist, Professional Counselor, or Certified Clinical Specialist in Mental Health Nursing.
  • One (1) year of clinical therapeutic experience in a medical setting. (Note: For some positions, three (3) years of clinical therapeutic experience in a medical setting working with a broad range of social, psychological, or behavior issues may be substituted for the licensure/certification. At least one of the three years of experience must be post-masters.)

Qualifications

Anticipated Hiring Range: $65,000.00 - $96,761.60 annually
