About the role
The IMA Group is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to provide disability and VA telehealth assessments in Huntsville, AL. This position involves conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations via telehealth platforms to support clients seeking disability benefits or VA compensation.
Responsibilities
- Conducting initial and follow-up assessments using standardized psychological tests and clinical interviews
- Providing expert opinions on disability claims based on psychological findings
- Collaborating with medical professionals and other specialists to ensure holistic assessment
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines
- Participating in regular case reviews and consultations with supervisors
Requirements
- Current licensure as a psychologist in Alabama
- Experience in disability and/or VA telehealth assessments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms and software
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field
- Master's degree preferred
