Job Description
The Psychologist provides individual evaluation and individual and group outpatient treatment for mental health disorders in children and adolescent outpatients. They also provide education on mental health topics to patients, their family members, the community, and other professionals. Specialized therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), or Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Treats patients in the Ohana program
- Provides education on mental health topics
- Collaborates with the Ohana Clinical Team on program development
- Maintains a productivity standard of at least 25 patient-facing billable hours per week
- Works in a team environment that prioritizes family-centered care and quality outcomes
- Engages in a culture of continuous learning and hard work
Requirements
- Three years minimum prior experience in mental health inpatient and outpatient treatment settings with children and adolescents
- Preferred experience in administrative or leadership roles or program development
- PhD in clinical or counseling psychology or PsyD
- State of California Psychology License required with PsyD
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
- Must obtain MOAB certification within the first 6 months of hire
- Must complete mandatory 5150 training by Monterey County to obtain 5150 certification and obtain 5150 Professional staff authorization yearly

Pay
$69.70 to $93.21 based on years of applicable experience
Schedule
Primarily the schedule will be as follows, but subject to change depending on department needs:
- Monday: 8:00am-4:30pm
- Tuesday: 8:00am-4:00pm
- Wednesday: 10:30am-7:00pm
- Thursday: 8:00am-5pm
- Friday: 8:30am-5pm
