Licensed Psychologist – Assessment Role (No Therapy) - Hempstead, NY (2-3 days per week)

The IMA Group is hiring a Licensed Psychologist in Hempstead, NY to perform psychological evaluations supporting NYS Disability, DSS, and Occupational Health/Fit-for-Duty (FFD) programs. Additional opportunities may be available in Queens for candidates willing to travel.

About the role

Flexible, assessment-based work without ongoing therapy or caseload management. Schedule: 2–3 days per week. Per-unit compensation: $75 per unit.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations for NYS Disability, DSS, and FFD cases
• Perform Mental Status Examinations and clinical interviews
• Administer and interpret psychological assessments as appropriate
• Complete clear, objective, and timely reports via electronic documentation
• Review relevant records and supporting documentation

Requirements

• PhD or PsyD in Psychology
• Active, unrestricted New York State Psychologist license
• Strong assessment, testing, and report-writing skills
• Experience conducting psychological evaluations preferred
