Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and provide therapy tailored to individual needs.
- Develop treatment plans and collaborate with facility staff to ensure effective care.
- Ensure clinical services adhere to ethical and professional standards, participate in case staffing, care management meetings, and quality improvement activities.
- Complete clinical documentation professionally and promptly, maintain data for departmental statistics, and develop goals and objectives for clinical services in consultation with supervisors.
- Deliver staff training on mental health issues and assist in the development and refinement of facility policies and procedures.
- Participate in a 24-hour crisis intervention system, notify the supervising Psychologist of serious incidents, and provide timely updates on clinical concerns impacting clients or the mental health services program.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s degree in psychology.
- Experience with mental health delivery systems.
- Knowledge of diagnosis and treatment of psychological disorders and psychological evaluation techniques, including psychological assessment instruments.
- Licensed as a Licensed Psychological Associate in the state of Kentucky.
