Role Overview

This position is for licensed psychiatrists seeking to build or expand their private practice. The role offers tools and support to streamline insurance credentialing, manage operations, and focus on delivering quality care independently.

Responsibilities

• Credentialing assistance across multiple states
• Securing competitive insurance rates and increasing earnings
• Providing real-time scheduling, client messaging, and documentation via built-in EHR tools
• Ensuring compliance with insurance and industry regulations
• Supporting patient access to affordable care and insurance verification

Qualifications & Skills

• Fully licensed psychiatrist with DEA, CDS, or board certification
• Valid NPI and malpractice insurance
• Desire to manage own practice, schedule, and caseload
• Licenses accepted on a state-by-state basis (MD/DO)

Additional Notes

• Role is a 1099 independent contractor with full practice autonomy
• Must be fully licensed to be supported
• Headway handles billing, credentialing, and administrative tasks to enable focus on patient care
