Licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) Location: Raleigh, NC (Fully In-Office)Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Friday, 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Property & Casualty Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our client's team in Raleigh, NC. This fully in-office role plays a critical part in supporting both clients and the insurance team by delivering exceptional service, managing policy needs, and ensuring a smooth client experience.The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance products, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Customer Support Respond promptly to client inquiries regarding auto, home, renters, commercial property, and liability policiesClearly explain coverage details, deductibles, limits, billing inquiries, and claims processesResolve customer questions and concerns professionally with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention Policy Servicing Process policy transactions including endorsements, renewals, cancellations, reinstatements, and rewritesReview applications and supporting documentation for accuracy and completenessPrepare quotes, proposals, and required documentation for both new and existing business Claims Assistance Provide First Notice of Loss (FNOL) support and guide clients through the claims processCommunicate and coordinate with carriers and adjusters to ensure timely updates and resolution Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the agency management systemEnsure compliance with state regulations, carrier guidelines, and internal policiesHandle sensitive client data with discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality Carrier & Team Collaboration Work directly with insurance carriers to address underwriting questions, policy clarifications, and service issuesSupport producers/agents with administrative tasks and customer follow-upAssist with renewal reviews, account rounding, and identifying cross-sell opportunities Required Qualifications Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (North Carolina required) or pursuing coursework currently.1-3 years of experience in insurance or customer service (P&C strongly preferred)Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearlyExcellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectivelyHigh attention to detail and problem-solving capabilitiesProficiency with agency management systems such as Applied Epic, Vertafore, or AMS360 Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in an independent agency environmentExperience handling both personal and small commercial linesFamiliarity with multiple carrier platforms Work Environment Fully in-office position located in Raleigh, NCCollaborative, team-oriented atmosphere with a strong focus on client serviceStandard office setting with regular interaction with clients, team members, and carrier partners Why Join Us Consistent weekday schedule with early Friday closeOpportunity to grow within a supportive and professional insurance teamHands-on role with strong client interaction and impact All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
