Key Responsibilities
- Lead luxury residential architectural projects through all phases of design and construction.
- Develop design concepts, schematic designs, design development packages, and comprehensive construction documents.
- Prepare and coordinate permit and bid documents in compliance with applicable building codes and zoning regulations.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, consultant coordination, and client communication.
- Produce detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
- Conduct site visits, review construction progress, and respond to RFIs, submittals, and field conditions.
- Cooky with structural, civil, MEP, and interior design consultants throughout project execution.
- Apply knowledge of historic architecture and preservation principles to renovation, restoration, and adaptive reuse projects.
- Mentor junior architects and architectural designers while maintaining high design and documentation standards.
Qualifications
- Licensed Architect required (or actively pursuing licensure with significant project leadership experience).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of professional architectural experience, with a focus on luxury residential projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction documents, detailing, building systems, and construction administration.
- Experience with historic residential renovations and preservation projects preferred.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Thorough understanding of building codes, zoning ordinances, and permitting processes.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
