Licensed Project Architect

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead luxury residential architectural projects through all phases of design and construction.
  • Develop design concepts, schematic designs, design development packages, and comprehensive construction documents.
  • Prepare and coordinate permit and bid documents in compliance with applicable building codes and zoning regulations.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, consultant coordination, and client communication.
  • Produce detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
  • Conduct site visits, review construction progress, and respond to RFIs, submittals, and field conditions.
  • Cooky with structural, civil, MEP, and interior design consultants throughout project execution.
  • Apply knowledge of historic architecture and preservation principles to renovation, restoration, and adaptive reuse projects.
  • Mentor junior architects and architectural designers while maintaining high design and documentation standards.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Architect required (or actively pursuing licensure with significant project leadership experience).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of professional architectural experience, with a focus on luxury residential projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction documents, detailing, building systems, and construction administration.
  • Experience with historic residential renovations and preservation projects preferred.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Thorough understanding of building codes, zoning ordinances, and permitting processes.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

  • High-end custom residential design.

  • Waterfront or estate residential projects.
  • Client-facing project management and consultant coordination.
  • Construction administration and field observation.
