Licensed Professional Counselor - PRN

CorrectHealth has an exciting opportunity for a PRN Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) / Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our growing team in Gretna, LA. This onsite position offers a day shift.

CorrectHealth is a multi-disciplinary medical organization providing high-quality, cost-effective, and comprehensive healthcare within correctional facilities. Founded by experienced ER professionals, we deliver care in over 40 correctional facilities across Georgia and Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to individuals needing social and human services in medical, mental health, and public health fields.
• Coordinate all psychosocial community services under the general direction of a Clinical Psychologist/Psychiatrist.
• Implement community educational programs.
• Assess problems and determine appropriate types and methods of treatment.
• Implement intervention methodologies in accordance with industry standards, licensing, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling (Required).
• Experience with alcohol/drug populations.
• Familiarity with multicultural groups and work settings.
• Experience or familiarity with chronically mentally ill populations.
• Active license as a Clinical Social Worker or LPC in the state of employment (Required).
• Valid credentials as one of the following: LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker).
