Licensed Professional Counselor
About the role
Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a civilian Licensed Professional Counselor at Whiteman Air Force Base near Warrensburg, MO. The position offers full-time Monday through Friday hours from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, along with a relocation bonus and support for work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based treatment for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) using modalities such as Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy.
- Work with an appreciative and compliant patient population.
- Operate in a stress-free environment free from the pressures of managed care systems.
- Focus on patient care rather than administrative responsibilities.

Requirements
- A Master's degree from a mental health counseling program accredited by CACREP.
- A current, valid, unrestricted license to practice in any state.
- Active practice with an adult population within the past two years.
- Experience delivering Evidence-Based Treatment modalities to treat PTSD, including Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy.
- BLS certification required.
