LICENSED PRACTICIONER NURSE (LPN/LVN)

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, quality care to employees.
• Provide direct first aid care to employees at the site according to the medical directives within the scope of practice and State and National regulations.
• Adhere to health management policies, protocol, medical directives, and physician standing orders according to the scope of the practice.
• Adhere to state and federal regulations including OSHA, Worker’s Compensation, etc.
• Adhere to HIPPA compliance of confidentiality of employee’s personal medical information.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with departmental staff, complex management, supervisory staff, and local health care providers.
• Maintain accurate documentation and assist in departmental medical record upkeep.
• Perform Drug and Alcohol screening for Powered Industrial Truck operators, as requested.
• Conduct annual hearing testing for facility employees.
• Auxiliary in conducting daily restrictive duty checks.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Notify Occupational Health Manager and designee of any pertinent physical and emotional changes of symptoms presented.
• Must be flexible with work schedule.
• Auxiliary in the training of new employees, production, and maintenance at all levels in compliance programs.
• Help to perform job duties within the Safety and Occupational Health department as needed.
• Auxiliary in projects as needed within the department.

Qualifications

• A High School Degree / GED equivalency required.
• An Associates Degree of Nursing or Diploma Nursing Degree Required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Current LVN/LPN license in the state of application.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Bilingual preferred, but not required.
