Licensed Practical Nurse - Wound Care

Department: Wound Care. Facility: Saint Joseph Medical Center. Location: Joliet, IL. Sign On Bonus: Up to $7,500!

Schedule

Shift: Full-Time; Days; 8A-4P.

Responsibilities

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care, and meets the communication needs of the patient and family; Performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN license issued by the State of Illinois.
• BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and must maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Previous Wound care knowledge and/or experience preferred (1 Year), including wound assessment, treatment documentation, and product utilization.
• Wound Care Certification – WCC designation within 1 year.

Pay

Compensation estimate: $31 to $40 per hour (includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation). Exact starting compensation determined based on skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
