About the role
Location: Chicago, IL. Facility: Resurrection Village Life Center. Department: Skilled Nursing.
Responsibilities
- Provide bedside care, simple treatments, and routine tests under RN/physician direction.
- Collect patient data for RN review and immediately address safety hazards or emergencies.
- Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Guide patients and families on post-care plans, holistic health, and follow-up resources.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse license obtained prior to hire or transfer.
- BLS Provider certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of applicable cumulative job‑specific experience.
- Required professional licensure/certification may be used in lieu of education or experience if applicable.
