Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Medical Director and Program Director, the LPN performs tasks in providing clinical services to all behavioral health members.
• Provides appropriate medical services and support as directed.
• Assists with inventory control, daily reporting, medication ordering, regulatory audits and other duties as assigned.
• May be subjected to random drug screening.
• Completes appropriate medical procedures and makes necessary referrals.
• Collaborates with prescribing clinicians and clinical staff to promote member recovery.
• Coordinates medical care with primary physician and other health care providers.
• Observes members’ behavior patterns and medical symptoms related to treatment.
• Reports assessment to prescribing clinician or clinical staff for follow-up.
