Licensed Practical Nurse Resident Care TMR 1

Responsibilities

• Administers nursing care to designated residents under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Captures and supports the activities of certified nurse assistants.
• Participates directly in the resident's care by following the specific approaches outlined in the plan of care.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing
• Currently registered in New York State as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Long-term care experience preferred
• One (1) year post-hire experience to perform in an acceptable manner
