Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse RN/LPN

Majestic Care of Avon is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) or Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team. LPNs at Majestic Care render skilled technical nursing services to residents within an assigned unit/wing, supporting medical care as directed by the nursing management team. They supervise CNAs to ensure high-quality care for all residents in the memory care unit.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead team conferences to develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Assess and document residents’ conditions and nursing needs.
• Accurately and promptly implement physicians’ orders.
• Administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments for assigned residents, documenting as required by Majestic Care and local, state, and federal regulations.
• Participate in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
• Assist physicians with special tests and procedures within the scope of the state-specified Nursing Practice Act.
• Report and record pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.
• Coordinate nursing care for residents scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments.
• Assist with or institute emergency measures for sudden adverse developments in residents.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an LPN or RN in the state of employment; license must be active, valid, and in good standing.
• Valid CPR teaching certificate preferred but not required.
