About the Role

Flu Vaccine Event: This role involves assisting in the setup and breakdown of events, as well as administering vaccines.

Location: 250 Vesey St, Floor 18, New York, New York, 10281

Event Dates: 9/29 - 10/1 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Additionally, provide coverage at least once per month, including scheduled PTO dates: 9/9 - 9/11, 9/14 - 9/17, 9/22 - 9/25.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with treatments ordered by provider as supervised by provider or registered nurse.
  • Performs select clinical duties, interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts.
  • Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
  • Performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing.
  • Performs basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking supplies.
  • Assists with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
  • May document the provider's encounter with patients, listing all proper diagnoses and symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions as indicated by the provider.
  • Transcribes patient orders including laboratory tests, radiology tests, and medications.

Requirements

  • Certification as an LPN required.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support.
  • Direct occupational health clinical experience in an outpatient setting.
  • Ability to draw blood.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and maintain working relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to prioritize needs and plan work accordingly.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screen.
