About the role
Hedrick Family Care in Chillicothe, MO is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Screens walk-in patients and performs telephone screenings (with protocols)
- Provides medication/injection education
- Absorbs and assists with procedures
- Cleans wounds, dresses changes, suctions, inserts catheters, tracheostomies, performs biopsies, provides diabetic nail care, and other duties as assigned
- Works in a team atmosphere and autonomously
- Displays excellent customer service skills and maintains a professional demeanor
- Delegates tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAP) based on demonstrated competencies and scope of practice
- Might cover Medical Assistant job duties as needed
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in the state of Missouri
Job Requirements
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Licensed Practical Nurse - Various
- Associate Degree
