Responsibilities

  • Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice.
  • Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration, wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders.
  • Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures.
  • Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
  • Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required.
  • Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required.
  • At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting.

  • Flexible PRN opportunity supporting two established employer health clinics in downtown Oklahoma City, offering weekday hours (Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm) with no evenings or weekends.

  • Practice a wide variety of clinical skills including phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, point-of-care testing, and patient care coordination while working alongside experienced providers in modern onsite clinics.
