Licensed Practical Nurse -PRN

About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will participate in the clinical aspects of patient care with all members of the healthcare team and law enforcement. Duties are performed under the supervision of the RN, HSA, Mid Level Provider, Physician, or the administrative supervision of the HSC.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality care as per standards and ethics of nursing as per applicable State Board of Nursing and other accrediting agencies.
• Maintains standard and ethics of nursing in accordance with applicable State Board of Nursing and other accrediting agencies.

Requirements

• Graduate from a national or state approved school of nursing program.
• Holds and maintains a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of employment.
• American Heart Association BLS certified.

Qualifications

• Possesses knowledge and ability to provide quality care as well as respond to needs within the correctional environment.

Skills

• Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a correctional setting.
