About the Role
The LPN for SoNE HEALTH Medical Group Pediatrics will provide direct patient care and support for the team. Responsibilities encompass a wide range of clinical tasks, including patient rooming, vital signs, vaccinations, and in-office testing. This role requires strong computer skills, attention to detail, a positive professional attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor nurse line and respond to clinical calls.
- Obtain medication and radiology authorizations.
- Complete physical forms, school medication forms, disability paperwork, and all other clinical documentation and forms as needed for patients.
- Monitor incoming patient portal messages and return patient calls, as delegated by provider.
- Follow up with referrals to ensure patient has been contacted.
- Prepare and process order forms for patient nebulizers monthly.
- Prepare and administer vaccinations.
- Maintain eyewash station per policies and protocol, including testing, cleaning, and reporting.
- Perform other duties or small projects as delegated by the Practice Manager or Provider, within the employee’s legal and personal capabilities.
Requirements
- Active LPN License in CT.
- 2 years of primary care office experience preferred.
- Must reside in New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maine, Vermont, Connecticut, or Massachusetts.
- Must be fully vaccinated for influenza.
Physical and Mental Requirements
- Frequently required to maintain a stationary position and move or traverse.
- Ability to transport and/or maneuver objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Dexterity necessary to utilize a computer keyboard regularly is essential.
- Ability to work in a busy environment subject to frequent interruptions and shifting, potentially conflicting priorities.
