Licensed Practical Nurse or Graduate LPN - Medical Telemetry Unit

Role Overview

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or direction of a licensed healthcare professional. Maintains accountability for patient care, coordinates with other departments, and upholds patient rights and confidentiality. Participates in a Med Surg/Telemetry unit focused on adult medical patients requiring telemetry monitoring. Engages in innovative projects to improve nursing practices through quick PDSA cycles aligned with organizational strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care, assessments, and critical thinking.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Support unit initiatives aimed at process improvement and innovation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Valid LPN license in the state of practice and LPN-IV certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, innovative healthcare environment.

Schedule

Rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
