Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care to adult cardiac patients on a specialized 31-bed unit
- Maintain accountability for patient care, coordinating with other departments
- Ensures patient rights and confidentiality
- Monitor telemetry, manage post-angio care, and administer medications, including drips
- Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate patient treatment
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety standards
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Valid LPN license and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Optional IV certification
- Experience or new graduates accepted
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist patients up to 50 pounds
- Shift rotations include days and nights with weekend rotations every two weeks
