Licensed Practical Nurse - On-call

Role Overview This position focuses on providing patient-centered care by developing strong relationships, understanding patient needs, and responding promptly to concerns. The nurse supports physicians and medical providers in clinical tasks, ensuring safety and adherence to quality standards, infection control, and emergency procedures. Responsibilities include administering treatments and medications, monitoring patient conditions, and documenting care accurately. The role involves patient education on health management and assisting with examinations, minor procedures, and surgeries. Additionally, the nurse may train new staff, manage supplies, and uphold service excellence in line with organizational values. Qualifications & Skills Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program and licensure as an LPN in Colorado.High School Diploma or GED required.Demonstrated customer service skills and a focus on quality care.Preferred: experience with diverse patient populations, IV therapy certification, and BLS certification.Additional certifications like IV therapy may be required for some roles. Key Duties Provide safe, effective nursing care within scope of practice.Assist with patient procedures, treatments, and medication administration.Monitor and report patient conditions, recognizing deviations from normal.Educate patients on health management and post-care instructions.Support physicians during examinations and minor surgeries.Maintain accurate medical records and manage supplies.Contribute to a safe, respectful, and service-oriented environment.
