Role Overview This position involves providing patient-centered nursing care, supporting physicians, and ensuring safety and quality standards. The nurse develops strong relationships with members and patients, actively understanding their needs and responding promptly. Responsibilities include administering treatments and medications, monitoring patient conditions, supporting procedures, and educating patients on health maintenance and post-care instructions. The role also encompasses maintaining a safe environment, following infection control protocols, and documenting patient information accurately. Key Duties Adheres to safety, quality, and emergency policies, ensuring effective clinical practice.Supports physicians during examinations and procedures, preparing patients and rooms.Performs routine and specialized nursing procedures within scope of practice.Monitors and reports patient status, recognizing deviations from normal health conditions.Educates patients on health management and post-treatment care.Assists in orienting and training new staff; may perform duties of Nursing Assistant or Medical Receptionist.Maintains inventory of supplies and ensures a safe, therapeutic environment. Qualifications & Skills Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program and valid Colorado LPN license.High school diploma or GED required.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months of hire; IV therapy certification preferred.Customer service focus and cultural sensitivity; bilingual skills (especially Spanish) highly encouraged.Experience with adult, pediatric, or trauma care preferred.
