Licensed Practical Nurse (Non-Exempt)

Job Summary The role involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient care under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals or a Registered Nurse (RN). It requires maintaining accountability for patient care, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are upheld. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care using nursing assessments and interventions.Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate treatment plans.Maintain confidentiality and uphold patient rights.Ensure proper documentation and adherence to care protocols. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program with valid licensure.Current LPN license in the state of practice, meeting all licensing requirements.Preferred certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, PEARS, and unit-specific credentials.Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various physical tasks. Additional Requirements Proficiency in performing procedures requiring reaching, bending, kneeling, and twisting.Willingness to work night shifts, rotating weekends, and adapt to shift needs.
