Position Details
Location: Warren County Detention Center, North Carolina
Position: Licensed Practical Nurse Medical Services Coordinator
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours: 32 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care while coordinating daily nursing operations
- Support and guide nursing staff to ensure consistent, high quality care
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and progress
- Administer medications in accordance with nursing standards and correctional regulations
- Ensure treatment plans and provider directives are followed accurately
- Respond to medical concerns, emergencies, and time sensitive situations
- Maintain compliance with State Scope of Practice, facility policies, and clinical guidelines
- Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, providers, and facility leadership
