Licensed Practical Nurse - Med Surg

Role Overview: Provides comprehensive bedside care within the Med Surg unit, supporting patient assessment, medication administration, lab tests, and discharge planning. Key Responsibilities Deliver patient care in accordance with scope of practice.Assess patient status and report findings promptly.Administer medications and document accurately.Perform laboratory and diagnostic tasks as ordered.Assist with discharge planning and patient/family education. Qualifications Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credential from the Kansas Board of Nursing.High school diploma or equivalent, or at least 1 year of relevant experience.BLS certification within 30 days of hire (American Heart Association or Red Cross). Preferred Skills: IV certification is a plus.
