Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Wound Team PRN

Requirements

• Graduate of nursing program
• Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in South Carolina

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, provides direct age-specific care to selected patients and performs selected activities, utilizing the Resident Assessment Instrument and the Nursing process based on delegation by the Registered Nurse
• When a Registered Nurse is not scheduled on the Subacute unit, acts as the charge nurse under the supervision of the nursing coordinator or the Registered Nurse on call
• Provides and understands the specific communication, developmental, and treatment needs of patients, staff, visitors, and others ranging in age from early adult to late adult
