About the role
Join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at University Health Truman Medical Center. Under the guidance of a registered nurse, you will provide exceptional nursing care across various settings, including acute care, long-term care, home health, and ambulatory care. You'll work closely with our team to ensure the highest quality care for our patients, from assessments to medication administration and treatments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and collect patient data
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Document patient care accurately and promptly
- Provide nursing care in compliance with the Missouri State Board of Nurse Practice Act
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program
- Licensed as a practical nurse in the State of Missouri
- Certified in BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
Qualifications (Preferred)
- State-approved certification in IV Therapy
Schedule
- 3 days per week, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Full-time, 36 hours per week
- Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
