About the role
Care Options for Kids provides pediatric home health nursing services where LPNs can offer one-on-one care in the home, focusing on patients with skilled nursing needs. This role involves close collaboration with a registered nurse and clinical leadership.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in the patient’s home setting
- Work closely with a registered nurse and clinical leadership
- Support pediatric patients with skilled nursing needs
- Deliver care with confidence and consistency
Requirements
- Current, active Florida LPN license
- Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person)
- TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
- Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)
- Access to the DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website)
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should have a strong background in pediatric nursing and a passion for making a positive impact in children's lives. Experience in home health care is preferred but not required.
Skills
Effective communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work independently are essential. The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information is also important.
