About the role
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs day-to-day nursing activities within the scope of their licensure to provide resident care.
Responsibilities
- Performs resident assessment through direct physical assessment, behavior monitoring, various assessment forms, review of hospital records, laboratory results, resident medical records, and information from the interdisciplinary team, resident, and/or significant others.
- Monitors residents for changes in condition indicating progress or deterioration; notifies physicians and families of changes and transcribes orders received.
- Administers medications according to facility policy and monitors residents for therapeutic and adverse effects; notifies physician and pharmacy of suspected or actual adverse reactions.
Requirements
- Current LPN License within the State of Delaware.
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
Pay
$27–37 per hour.
