Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Sign On Bonus

48-hour biweekly position. Rotates every other Friday/Saturday with a set schedule.

About the role

Mercy Convent, home to the Sisters of Mercy, is seeking a compassionate and dependable LPN to join our team. This role provides direct care to the Sisters and oversees caregivers during assigned shifts to ensure high-quality, mission-aligned service.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per care plan and physician orders
• Supervise and support caregivers during assigned shifts
• Complete assessments, vitals, documentation, and medication administration
• Respond promptly to Sisters’ needs and any changes in condition
• Maintain a safe, clean environment; follow all safety and infection-control protocols
• Communicate clearly with the DON/RCA, team members, and Sisters
• Assist with admissions, transfers, incident reporting, and chart updates

Requirements

• Active LPN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 75 lbs and meet general physical demands
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Pay

$24.00–$32.00 per hour (based on experience)
