About the role

Care Options for Kids provides pediatric home health nursing services where LPNs can provide one-on-one care in the home, focusing on patients with skilled nursing needs. This role involves working closely with a registered nurse and clinical leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Support pediatric patients with skilled nursing needs
  • Work closely with a registered nurse and clinical leadership
  • Provide one-on-one care in the home
  • Deliver care with confidence and consistency

Requirements

  • Valid Pennsylvania LPN License or Multistate License
  • TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
  • Valid BLS CPR card (obtained in person not online)
  • Valid driver's license
  • G-tube, trach, vent experience or willingness to train

Qualifications

Experience with G-tube, trach, and vent is preferred but not required. The role requires a strong commitment to patient care and a desire to make a positive impact in children's lives.

Skills

Effective communication, empathy, and the ability to work independently are essential skills for this role.
