Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – SIGN ON BONUS
About the role
Care Options for Kids is dedicated to providing pediatric home health nursing services where LPNs can offer focused, one-on-one care in the comfort of a child's home. This role involves supporting pediatric patients with skilled nursing needs under the supervision of a registered nurse and clinical leadership.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one care to pediatric patients with skilled nursing needs
- Work closely with a registered nurse and clinical leadership
- Support patients' physical, emotional, and social needs
- Develop and maintain positive patient relationships
- Follow clear plans of care with RN oversight
- Ensure compliance with CDC safety guidelines
Requirements
- Valid Pennsylvania LPN License or Multistate License
- TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
- Valid BLS CPR card (obtained in person not online)
- Valid driver's license
- G-tube, trach, vent experience or willingness to train
Qualifications
Experience with pediatric patients is preferred but not required. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Skills
Effective communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills are essential. Familiarity with pediatric care protocols and emergency response procedures is beneficial.
