About the role

CorrectHealth has an exciting PRN opportunity to join our growing team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Carrollton, GA. An additional $5/hr differential is offered for all hours worked.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the clinical aspects of patient care with all members of the healthcare team and law enforcement.
• Performs duties under the supervision of the RN, HSA, Mid Level Provider, Physician, or the administrative supervision of the HSC.
• Possesses knowledge and ability to provide quality care as well as respond to needs within the correctional environment.
• Maintains standards and ethics of nursing in accordance with applicable State Board of Nursing and other accrediting agencies.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a national or state approved school of nursing program.
• Holds and maintains a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of employment.
• American Heart Association BLS certified.

Skills

• Corrections experience is a plus.
