Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Per Diem/Flex

About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care under supervision or direction, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality. This position involves coordinating care across departments and maintaining professional accountability.

Responsibilities

• Float between hospital departments such as Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, ICU, and Medical-Surgical, working in various facilities.
• Deliver bedside care.
• Adhere to licensure and certification requirements.
• Perform physical tasks like lifting and prolonged standing.
• Ensure quality patient care while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current LPN license.
• Recent bedside experience (minimum one year in Med Surg, two years for other specialties).
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and IV.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Must meet physical demands including lifting and standing.

Schedule

• Flexibly schedule shifts (day/night), with no weekend or holiday requirements.
• Participate in a program that offers variable hours based on availability.
