Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the Wellness Office in the absence of the Director of Resident Services.
- Supervise personal care services rendered by Gurwin Jewish : Fay J. Lindner Residences.
- Implements standards of care and policy and procedures for the Wellness Department.
- Cook up and manage all Assisted Living Aides.
- Apprise family of changes in resident health and behavior.
- Responsible for control of medication and documentation of medication.
- Supervise daily shift logs to ensure compliance.
Requirements
- A current valid NYS LPN license with knowledge of geriatric nursing.
- Must adhere to the Department of Health Regulations as they pertain to Assisted Living Facilities.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills and be detail oriented.
- Ability to work independently in an active Assisted Living Community.
- Must have exceptional interpersonal skills, coupled with strong relationship building and be an effective leader.
