Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)- Part-Time Nights, Lifelong Health - Saluda

About the role

Works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager or Nursing Supervisor, and ultimately responsible to the Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing and Director of Quality Care Management.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatments accurately and according to provider's orders.
• Allows resident choices within limits of capability considering safety /dignity issues and follows policies and procedures of facility to include resident privacy and dignity.
• Assigns duties to non-professional staff such as CNAs according to education, training, policy and resident need in order to assure quality resident care is delivered.
• Engages team members for optimal performance and addresses performance as needed.
• Develops, implements and evaluates resident care plans.
• Identifies changes in condition with proper documentation following the Interact process.
• Demonstrates consistent follow through for positive resident outcomes.
• Utilizes good judgment and specialized skills.

Requirements

• LPN Diploma from an accredited program required ONLY for new grads within 90 days of program completion.
• Certification: CPR/BLS (within 30 days of hire) required.
• FA (within 30 days of hire) required.
• LPN license in the state of VA or compact required or board eligible.
• This primary source verification required only for new graduates without their license within 90 days of graduation.

Pay

Hiring range $28.90 - $39.78/Hourly. Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
