Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Part-Time Days and Evenings

About the role

Help at Home is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) in Horn Lake, MS (38637). Shifts available are on Saturday & Sunday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM; and weekday evenings, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM. This position offers flexible scheduling, health care benefits, a 401k, paid time off, weekly pay, and direct deposit.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the outlined care plan
• Documenting tasks, observations and assessments
• Create, implement, monitor and enforce quality assurance policies and procedures
• Receive clinical direction and oversight from the Lead RN
• Aid with other duties such as working with PO feeds, seizure precautions, medications, and ADL’s

Requirements

• Current Mississippi (or Compact State) LPN or RN license
• Current BLS Certification
• Comply with state background screening requirements
• TB skin test (current within 12 months)
• One (1) or more years’ nursing experience
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Current Auto Insurance in your name

Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Knowledge of pediatric care, gastrostomy tube management, seizures, cerebral palsy, and developmental delay
