Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Part-Time

About the Role

We Promise to fight for their greatest good.” You will assist the provider, perform appropriate tests and procedures, handle administrative tasks for the health and wellness center, and support employee engagement and outreach.

Schedule

Friday 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Responsibilities

• Assists with and documents treatments ordered and supervised by the provider or registered nurse.
• Lists all proper diagnoses and symptoms, as well as follow-up instructions and prescriptions, as indicated by the provider.
• Transcribes patient orders including laboratory tests, radiology tests, and medications.
• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts.
• Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients and performs select clinical duties.
• Performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing.
• Performs basic inventory management of supplies and assists with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.

Requirements

• Associate degree and active certification as an LPN or LVN.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support.
• Minimum one-year clinical experience as an LPN.
• Recent experience drawing blood.
• Knowledge of HIPAA.
• Must pass pre-employment background checks and drug screen.
