Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Outpatient Clinic

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and clinical support in a fast‑paced outpatient specialty practice.
• Room patients, obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and other information in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with examinations, procedures, and patient care activities.
• Prepare and administer injections as directed by providers; perform dressing changes, suture/staple removal, and assist with casting, splinting, and durable medical equipment (DME) application.
• Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, prescription requests, and patient follow‑up care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (required).
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Ohio (required).
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Minimum of 3 years of LPN experience preferred; experience in outpatient, ambulatory, orthopedic, plastics, or adult/pediatric specialty care settings preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, patient care, communication, organization, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to assist with injections, dressing changes, suture/staple removal, casting, splinting, and DME application.
• Knowledge of infection control, HIPAA compliance, and EMR systems preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering compassionate, patient‑centered care.

Schedule

Full‑time, 36 hours per week – Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
